I can now check off
presidential election on my photojournalism career checklist. A steady stream of voters entered every precinct I visited on Nov. 3, and was, without a doubt, the highest voter turnout I have ever seen. I took a brief break after the election and jumped back into the action with more football, of course.
For me, 2020 will be remembered through a series of milestones. It is hard to associate anything without the pandemic this year. Every memory, every event, every feeling, every thought this year carries the weight of the coronavirus.
