May 2020

May was more like meh.

Knoxville entered Phase 1 of its reopening plan at the beginning of the month, and Phase 2 at the end. Save for some breaking news and a USA Today story I photographed on Tennessee’s remaining COVID-19 free county, it was not too eventful. Lots of bike riding and walks and getting situated in my new apartment. My co-worker Ryan Wilusz and I have been busy improving our podcast, the Scruffy Stuff, which been gaining some popularity in town.

I also celebrated my 25th birthday and quarter life crisis. Still in the throes of coronavirus, I held a small socially-distanced picnic at the park with a few friends.
