One month into 2020 and I’ve hit the ground running.
Kanye West. Goth dance nights. Pimped out rides. The Gator Bowl. It’s going to be difficult to top.
I’ve made a few new year’s resolutions like eating less sugar (mostly chocolate), less screen time and to read my favorite books. Unfortunately, using less tech proves difficult since my job revolves all around it.
This is my fourth year in Knoxville. I often think back to the wide-eyed enthusiasm I had when I began where I was filled with excitement to learn, explore and discover stories in this new city. However, my priorities changed and I never followed through with many of those ideas. This year I am dedicating myself to pursue those projects (even if I’m not on the clock, sorry boss), and allotting time to develop my creativity.
Below are two video projects I did. The story on Mr. Basketball is one I’ve wanted to do since I saw his car the first week I was in Knoxville. The story proved difficult to report on, but I am satisfied with the result and that I finally did the story.
