December 2019

December 2019

December feels like forever ago, and not because it was last year.

*eye-roll*

I traveled home to Wisconsin for a week, spent a weekend in Nashville for a concert and worked through the holidays. I know working during Christmastime sounds depressing but it’s one of my favorite times of year at the office. While everyone is away, it feels good to reset from a year of go, go, go and catch up on filing expenses, cleaning the photo studio and other boring things haha.

A story about a female race car driver published earlier this month in which I wrote the story, shot the video and took the photos for. I’m proud of how it turned out.

I also realized that in September I have been photographing for ten years. Has it really been that long since ninth grade? I can’t wait to see what 2020 and the upcoming decade has in story for me!

Here are some of my favorite photos from December.

US Highway 441 and Newfound Gap Road from Gatlinburg, TN to Cherokee, NC, closed due to snow and ice, as well as Foothills Parkway East and West.
