Wildfires, football, a solar eclipse, Channing Tatum and a Confederate monument protest.

What didn’t happen in August?

Early each month I like to think about what sort of quirky assignments I will have in the coming weeks. It’s kind of funny how I am never disappointed by what comes my way.

As the summer slowly winds down and the school year begins again, assignments have been flooding into the photo department. Regular news assignments and feature hunting keep me busy for the most part – especially high school football every Friday night.
