Winter Break… What Break?

Winter Break… What Break?

During my winter break I spent my time shooting freelance for The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. I shot a variety of assignments ranging from sports, gun violence vigils to snowstorms. My favorite assignment was shooting a snowstorm at Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee. It was crazy to see crews working to keep runways clear, de-icing the planes and plowing the taxiways in near white-out conditions. I enjoyed being home again for the first time since May when I left for my summer internship in Naples, Florida, after which I immediately returned for school. I also enjoyed working with Milwaukee’s best photographers and picture editors again who I have become friends with over the past few years. I am excited to be their summer intern and working with them for an extended period. Here are some of my favorite images from this winter, a few before break and an assignment I photographed for Bloomberg Images.
